    Why?

    Saturday, February 17, 2007, 06:13 AM [General]

Hello all. To all those who throw that perfect shot, you know the one. Reads the lane perfectly, hits the breakpoint just right, rips towards the 1-3, explodes when it gets there. And for all that, you're left with a solid ten, or eight. But we keep going, keep coming back, keep throwin ball after ball after ball. Why do we tourture ourselves like that, when a perfect shot doesn't always mean the perfect result.   Because it is the times that the shots do carry, the times when you look up and it's 9, 10, 11 in a row.    Then you step up, breathe out, let the ball go and in slow motion, all the pins disappear off the deck, pins that had no chance from the first ball of the first frame. One number, three digits, twelve strikes, thats why we do it.  300. says it all, doesn't it?
